Enjoy a delectable foothills ice cream, or homemade strawberry shortcake from the Strawberry Cafe. Shop the Country Mercantile for homemade strawberry jams, garden decor, flowers, and fresh garden veggies.
Have you ever wanted to ride a pony, feed a duck or brush a cow? Take a wagon ride, have a picnic, stroll in prairie grassland or sit by a beaver pond at Mcleod Creek Farm, which is dedicated to the preservation of rare and endangered Canadian livestock. Mcleod Creek offers you a chance to help in their preservation. Revenue generated helps in the maintenance of the Lac La Croix Indian Ponies, Canadian Shetland Ponies, Newfoundland ponies, Dexter Cattle, Jacob’s Sheep, Horned Dorset Sheep and more.
