East of Vilna lies the Village of Ashmont, right on the doorstep of a number of great lakes for camping and fishing. At the junction of Hwy 36 & Hwy 28, Ashmont is a favorite stop for travellers and Iron Horse Trail users, with places to eat and shop. Enjoy Heritage Days on the 2nd weekend of August. Just east of Ashmont enjoy some old time music Jamborees at the Boscombe Hall.
