Family Fun
Wetland Day                                       June 9
Come celebrate Environment Week at the PCF.  We’re inviting your family out to the farm to explore the wonders of the wetland and to learn more about what you can do to conserve water.  This family day will be full of fun.  Cost per family is $20.00 and includes a BBQ lunch. 
 
Little Britches Rodeo                              July 14
It’s going to get western at the farm for our first ever little britches rodeo.  Come on down to try out some rodeo activities just for kids.  We’re also having a rodeo clown and rodeo princess dress up contest.  So bring your family out for this afternoon of fun.
 
Campout
City/Country Campout (grade 5&6)  $40             July 26&27
A first at the farm!  Come to the overnight campout exchange.  We are going to get together kids from the city and country to do leadership activities, try out some camping skills and learn about each others lives.  This will be a fun two days.  To see how we all live, everyone will make a photo journal of their life before they come to share with their new friends!
*All participants are asked to make a photo journal to share while on the campout.  So register early to get the disposable camera and instructions to get your journal done on time.  Supper and Breakfast are included.  Campers are asked to bring a sleeping bag, 2 lunches and any camping supplies they have.
 
**We are also looking for people over 12 to be Junior Leaders for the day camps.  Call to find out more.**

Trash Tuesday                                     July 3
Ever wonder what Oscar the grouch dose with all the trash he collects?  We’re going to spend the day having fun with trash discovering what we can make and how to recycle and compost!
 
Tree-rific!                                          July 19
What is so special about tree’s and why are they important?  We’ll spend the day learning about trees, playing tree games and we’ll even make our own paper.  It’s going to be a tree-rific day!
 
Magnifying mutants                                July 31
You think your small wait till you look closer at the mini world of bugs.  We’re going to spend the day looking at all sorts of bugs.  They mutate all the time and we’re going to find out how they change and have fun playing in their world.
 
PCF Summer Programs (7-11 years old)  $20
Two Thousand One Hundred and Seven         July 5
It’s a hundred years in the future at this camp and we’re going to have a space age day of fun exploring the future.  Come out if you’re up to the challenge of space exploration and planetary conquest.  We may even have to save planet earth!
 
Get down and dirty.                               July10
This is one day you’re allowed to get dirty!  Come out to the farm to spend the day in the mud.  We’re going to learn all about dirt and make our own dirt pottery along the way on this adventure along a muddy trail.
 
Egg-stravaganza                                   July 17
What egg-zactly are we going to do at this camp?  We’re going on an egg-spadition to learn about eggs big and small and we’ll do some egg-speriments along the way.
 
Yee ha!  Yippy Ki Yay!                            July 24
Howdy boys and girls, come on down to the farm to get a whole lot western.  This fun filled day will be full of farm animals and cowboy skills.  Come on out to become a junior cowboy or cowgirl.
 
Hero’s to the rescue!                             August 2
You don’t just get to be a super hero.  At this camp we’re going to travel around the world and train to be super heroes.  It’s going to be a super day of world exploration and super hero training.
 
It’s a bird; it’s a plain it’s….                     August 8
If you want to be a super hero go to the last camp.  This camp is all about birds.  We’ll fly though this day as we make kites, play bird games and learn some bird identification.  We’re even going to help PCF out by building and putting up some blue bird boxes.
 
Kids Country Club Information
v      Drop off:   9:30-10:00 (ages 4-6)
§         8:30 – 9:00 (ages 7-11)
v      Pick up:    2:00 – 2:30 (ages 4-6)
§         4:00 – 4:30 (ages 7-11)
v      Bring a morning snack, lunch (no gum), water bottle, sun screen, insect repellent, good running shoes and a change of clothes for crafts or water sports
v      An afternoon theme snack will be provided
