Event: Backroads and Beaver hats a geocaching history mystery event

Mystery, History, Caches and Fun all on a Saturday afternoon. A series of caches, each with part of a mystery story, will be placed at interesting and unusual locations between Elk Point and the Historic Site. Participants receive their coordinates at the 1:30 start and have two hours to find the caches, put the parts of the mystery together, and propose a solution. Everyone gathers together again around a fire at 3:30 for tea, bannock, and the final reveal. Prizes will be awarded. Period costumes from 1790’s to 1920’s encouraged Cost $10.00/per participant.- includes admission to the site, a site tour, bannock and a good cup of tea. Arrive early for a tour. BBQ burgers will be on sale on site 11:00am to 1:00pm before the event.
