Fort George & Buckingham House Interpretive Centre is located approximately 10 km east of Elk Point on Secondary Hwy 646. On the north bank of the North Saskatchewan River the interpretive centre takes you back in time to the original site where the two forts competed for the area's fur trade. The centre is complete with depicitons of fur trades, operations of the fort and the hard life of a pioneer.
