Looking for some fun things to do with the family this summer?
This weekend, self-driving event includes pancake breakfasts and farmers markets, on both Saturday and Sunday, art and quilt shows, a nature centre and museums, plus opportunities to meet with some of the friendly rural farmers and business operators in the whole region. We have a honey farm, greenhouses, market gardens, a saddlery, as well as an ice cream parlour, plus a supper pig roast (advance tickets required). Enjoy the smell of the country, and fresh local foods – be sure to bring a cooler so that you can make the most of your visit.
If you’re wondering what the kids are going to be doing while you’re enjoying all this, don’t worry - there is a fun filled weekend of activities - they can make a necklace, do some rock painting or try tasting some delicious honey and looking inside a real bee hive to see how hard these busy little creatures are working for us.
Over 25 unique places to explore!
