This weekend, self-driving, event includes pancake breakfasts and farmers markets, on both Saturday and Sunday, art and quilt shows, a nature centre and museums, plus opportunities to meet with some of the friendly rural farmers and business operators in the whole region. We have a honey farm, greenhouses and market gardens, a saddlery, and a custom framer, as well as two unique dining establishments (a caboose and a restored stationhouse) and an ice cream parlour, plus a super pig roast (advance tickets required). Enjoy the smell of the country, and fresh local foods – be sure to bring a cooler so that you can make the most of your visit.

 

If you’re wondering what the kids are going to be doing while you’re enjoying all this, don’t worry - theirs is a fun filled weekend of activities - they can make a necklace, do some rock painting, frame their very own picture, make a dream catcher or a beautiful nosegay, or try tasting some delicious honey and looking inside a real bee hive to see how hard these busy little creatures are working for us.
