Stop by the hamlet of Kinsella, located between Viking and Irma for the annual Bullarama in mid-July and be sure to check out the nearby Ribstones Historic Site. A short distance west on Highway 14 is a point of Interest Sign and directions to an Native ceremonial area on a high point of land, thought to be connected with fertility rites for the buffalo. These Ribstones (large rocks) depict buffalo ribs carved by the Indians - a sacred and revered symbol for the people of the first nations; thought to be over a thousand years old.
