Driving through the beautiful rolling parkland in East Central Alberta, at the junction of Hwy 14 and Hwy 881 you will come to the community of Irma. Learn about the history of the area at the Irma Museum located on Hwy 881 & 53 St. Irma is home to 444 residents.

Irma has a wide variety of businesses to suit your shopping needs. Stay at our fully serviced campground conveniently located next to the recreation area. This sports-minded community offers an indoor ice arena, 4 baseball diamonds, a 9-hole golf course. A 4-sheet curling rink is the hub of activity all winter long and in early August during the annual Irma Summerspiel and Irma Daze. Enjoy exciting rodeo events, bench exhibits, a parade, and much more. In the winter, Santa Daze will give you the chance to go on a hayride, sit by a roaring bonfire, or test your hunting skills on a turkey shoot.
