Boyle, a rural community, foresees an extremely active and growing future. The Village, located on Hwy 63 just 160 km NE, of Edmonton is already experiencing phenomenal growth due to its natural resources, forestry and agriculture. The Community is proud to have in its midst the Millar Western planer and sawmill, the Alberta Pacific Pulp Mill and the Boyle Seed Cleaning Co-op. CN Railway plays a vital part in the community’s growth as well.

Three new sites that are to accommodate industrial business are under construction. To lodge the influx of new families to the area, the Village has annexed 80 acres for 28 country residential lots. Over 850 acres of prime industrial and highway commercial land along Hwy 63 were annexed September 10, 2010.

As a Village, soon to attain town status with a population of just under 1,000, it surely has something to boast about with more to offer than would be expected; a medical clinic, hospital and new regional ambulance station, RCMP detachment, new Alberta Sheriff’s office, volunteer fire department, airport, library, (K-12) school, cable TV, high speed internet service and a 26 lot public RV Park. Recreational facilities include new ball diamonds, curling rink, newly renovated arena and upgraded community centre, new skateboard park and new playground.
