Located on Highway 28, just over 2 hours northeast of Edmonton is the Town of Bonnyville. Nestled among clear lakes, green forests and some of the best birdwatching opportunities in the province, the town has a remarkable past and a bright future. The Alberta Winter Games are coming!
Join us February 4 - 7, 2010 as Bonnyville & Cold Lake host the Alberta Winter Games. As many as 3000 participants, coaches and officials are expected. The Centennial Centre, as well as numerous community arenas and schools will have an opportunity to showcase their excellent facilities.

The Bonnyville & District Centennial Centre ushers in a new era of community education, sports, and entertainment for Bonnyville and area. Some of the facilities available include 2 full-sized NHL arenas, athletic field house, indoor running track, wellness centre, climbing wall, a 500 person capacity Agriplex, day spa, lecture hall/movie theatre and an indoor playground. Also in the facility are not one but three colleges offering a wealth of programs in 11 state of the art classrooms.
The Bonnyville Farmers’ Market is also located at the Centennial Centre. It is a year round market specializing in products made & grown locally held every Saturday 11 am - 2 pm with lots of parking space.
