Our restored Telephone Exhange Builing is now ready for viewing.
Located in the Beaverhill Lake Nature Centre facility, featuring 1) our community's history since 1882,
2) a Nature Center showcasing birds and Beaverhill Lake,
3) an outdoor walkway through a marsh,
4) an Art Gallery with local art.
Our museum features our community’s history since the time Dr. James Henry Tofield arrived in Fort Edmonton in 1882, serving in the North West Rebellion of 1885. Dr. Tofield eventually settled in the hamlet during the 1890s. Browse through the gift shop, tourist information center and interpretive displays featuring Beaverhill Lake flora and fauna. Guided tours are available upon request.

Hours: July & August Tuesday through Saturday. Phone for current hours or by appointment year round.
