Day camping is available at Lindsay Evans Park & Campground. Overnight camping is available at Vermilion Provincial Park, as well as Lea Park (located on the North Saskatchewan River). Both parks provide opportunities for boating, fishing and other water sports. Visitors can golf at Lea Park with a backdrop of rolling hills, or choose a hiking or horseback riding trail along the verdant Vermilion River valley. For those who prefer country-living entertainment, you can enjoy fairs & rodeos during the summer season. Country museums, local festivals and top events like the Lea Park Rodeo & Dewberry Chuckwagon Races keep enthusiastic supporters coming back for more! In the winter months, outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy downhill skiing at Mount Joy Ski Hill or go cross country skiing at Vermilion Provincial Park.
